What data we collect

When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, the content of your message, and any file you choose to attach.

We do not use cookies, analytics tools, or any other tracking technology on this site.

Why we collect it

This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to discuss or carry out a translation project with you.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions and related correspondence are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, and are deleted within one month if no business relationship follows.

If you become a client, project-related files and correspondence are kept for the duration of our working relationship and deleted once a project is delivered, in line with our internal data security practices.

Where it's stored

This site is hosted with OVH (France). Data submitted through the contact form is processed and stored on infrastructure located in the European Union.

Who has access

Only Sophie McConnell has access to the data submitted through this site. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact sophie@mcconnell-translation.fr.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) if you believe your data protection rights have not been respected.
